U posljednjoj utakmici engleskog Premiershipa Arsenal je na svom stadionu svladao Manchester City s 2:1 i primaknuo se vodećem Leicesteru na dva boda zaostatka.

City je, s druge strane, ostao treći s 32 boda, šest manje od Leicestera i četiri manje od Arsenala.

Topnici su vodili s 2:0 do odmora golovima Walcotta i Girouda.

City je imao dominaciju u drugom poluvremenu, ali bili su to prilično jalovi napadi, pa osim smanjenja rezultata preko Yaye Tourea gosti nisu napravili ništa posebno.
